May 12-18 marks International Nursing Week which holds the theme this year of “The Power of Nurses”. This week draws attention to nurses, increasing the awareness of the public, policy-makers and governments of the many contributions of nursing to the well-being of Canadians. This year, the theme of May 16th in particular focuses on the Power of Nurses and the Future of Nursing.
In celebration of Nursing Week and to mark the first year Carleton will have a nursing program, you are invited to drop in to the Nursing housewarming to learn more about the brand new Carleton University School of Nursing, the connection to the Kanata Tech Park and the vision for the future.
Light refreshments will be provided and all departments, staff, community members and students are welcome to drop in, say hi, have a snack and learn more from the Director and two new faculty members as well as tour the new departmental space located in CTTC
