Prepare for a spooktacular Halloween celebration with the Faculty of Science at Carleton University!

Join us at the University Galleria on October 31st for “Science, Scares and Snacks: A Midday Monster Mash” from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event promises a ghoulishly good time filled with exciting activities for everyone.

Event Highlights

• Pumpkin Crafting Contest: Show off your creativity with your own unique pumpkin design.
• Pumpkin Fundraiser Guess: Make those last-minute guesses for the giant pumpkin’s weight and contribute to a great cause.
• Costume Contest: Dress to impress and participate in our costume contest with exciting prizes up for grabs.
• The Grand Pumpkin Reveal at 12:30 p.m.: Witness the moment we unveil the colossal pumpkin from the Department of Biology, a sight to behold.
• Halloween Goodies: Halloween-themed treats and delights will be available for purchase.

A Charitable Cause

Fundraiser Details

For just $5, you can take your shot at guessing the weight of the GIANT pumpkin. Remember to submit your guess and cash payment at the Department of Biology administrative office (209 Nesbitt Building). The winning guess, or the closest one, will be announced at the event and shared on our social media channels @carletonscience. The lucky winner will receive a brand new set of Apple AirPods!
