External Appointments
If you are external to Carleton and are interested in applying for, or renewing, an honorary rank at Carleton University, please review the relevant University Policies and contact the appropriate Department/Academic Unit directly for more information on the process.
Internal Appointments
Current faculty may be eligible for the honorary appointment of Chancellor’s Professor in accordance with the University Policy.
Carleton faculty who retire at the rank of Full Professor are automatically appointed Professor Emeritus in accordance with the University Policy.
Retired Carleton faculty may also wish to apply for an honorary rank in accordance with the University Policy.
