Notice of Collection – Faculty of Science Virtual Events

Personal information collected through this form will be used and disclosed by Carleton University under the authority of the Carleton University Act, 1952, and in accordance with sections 39, 41 and 42 of Ontario’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

The purpose of this processing is to manage your registration for Faculty of Science virtual events, such as Data Day and Life Sciences Day. We may use the audio, images and video taking during these events for promotional purposes. If you provide consent, we may also use your contact information to send you information about future events hosted by Carleton University or the Faculty of Science. Please note that you can unsubscribe at any time after opting in.

For Data Day and Life Sciences Day, we are using a third party provider, Event Mobi, to manage and host the virtual events. Information you provide on this form will be processed by Event Mobi to ensure you are properly registered for the events.

When you access Event Mobi’s platform, you will be subject to their privacy policy and terms of use. Please note that the university has no control over how Event Mobi may use your personal information, nor are we responsible for your conduct using their platform.
