Saturday, March 2 was a lovely day for a run!

The Brain Freeze 5k and Relay, organized by the Chee Lab of Carleton’s Department of Neursocience, was a huge success! With everyone’s support, the Chee Lab was able to donate $2,006 to the Distress Centre of Ottawa & Region.

On behalf of Melissa Chee and her students who worked tirelessly to organize (and participated in!) this event, we would like to thank everyone who contributed, either in the form of a donation, as an event organizer, or as a participant in the run on Saturday.

Thanks also to the event sponsors, including The Bookstore at Carleton University, Tim Hortons and the Natural Food Pantry, for helping the Chee Lab make this event enjoyable for all the participants.
