Reception Celebrating Gray Merriam and Lenore Fahrig

On behalf of Dr. Maria DeRosa, Dean of Science, we are delighted to extend a warm invitation to the community for a special reception, taking place on Thursday, June 8 at 3 p.m. in the Tory Building foyer, to celebrate and honour Gray Merriam and Lenore Fahrig, two remarkable individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of biology and the Carleton University community.
The reception will be to celebrate Gray’s honorary doctorate, to be conferred during next week’s Convocation ceremonies, as well as the establishment of the Gray Merriam Chair in Landscape Ecology, an honour bestowed upon Lenore.
The event will take place on the Carleton University campus, where Lenore and Gray’s paths first intersected. Light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to odscomms@carleton.ca.
