Join the Carleton Food Science program, Aramark Sustainable Food Services, and the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum for roster activities and events on and off campus that are highlighting the many and varied initiatives and key research projects that are helping to create a sustainable path to address UN Sustainability Goals for UN World Food Day.

On Tuesday, October 11 from 1pm – 2:30pm, join Food Science researchers at the caf to learn about their work in the field. Dining Services will also be providing sustainable themed food samples.

On Saturday, October 15 from 12pm – 4pm, join Carleton Science students off campus at the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum for onsite demonstrations and activities that demonstrate the many ways Carleton Researchers are contributing toward food security in the world today.

On Wednesday, October 19 from 2pm – 3pm join Department of Chemistry Assistant Professor, Yaxi Hu for a virtual Science Café ‘Advancement of Techniques for Food Authentication – The Last Barrier to Prevent Food Fraud’. Registration and details for the Science Café are coming soon!
