The Manager of Financial Services is responsible for financial function, including short-term and long-term aspects of resource allocation and control, leading budget process, and provides oversight on financial issues to the Manager of Science Stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepares and coordinates annual budget process, consults and liaises with academic units, and supporting ancillary units
• Monitors current funds, tracks variances, forecasts, approves and implements changes to budgets
• Provides oversight, training and support to chairs, directors, managers, and staff on financial systems, budget preparation, and financial management
• Oversees receipt, processing, verification, reconciliation, and completion of payment of invoices and expenses
• Oversees all financial activity of the Dean’s office accounts, providing leadership in financial policies and procedures
• Evaluates financial processes, policies, and procedures and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
