We are pleased to invite Carleton faculty members to the 2026 CIHR Project Grant Information Session!
The Project Grant Program is designed to capture ideas with the greatest potential to advance health-related fundamental or applied knowledge, health research, health care, health systems, and/or health outcomes. It supports research projects proposed and conducted by individual researchers or groups of researchers, at any career stage, in all areas of health. The best ideas may stem from new, incremental, innovative, and/or high-risk lines of inquiry; or knowledge translation approaches.
This free information session will take place in person on Wednesday, January 28th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Future Learning Lab Room 482 in the MacOdrum Library. The session will be led by faculty from the Faculty of Science, with additional panelists from the Faculties of Engineering & Design and Arts & Social Sciences. All presenters are current or recent members of the CIHR College of Reviewers and/or active CIHR Project Grant holders.
There will be an overview of the Project Grant program and application, updates to the application requirements, including the Formatting Rules and the new Tri-Agency Narrative CV, and a discussion with these panel members.
Please register by Friday, January 23, 2026, to secure your spot.
