Carleton University invites you to celebrate the opening of its new Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre: an innovative, purpose-built facility supporting the Faculty of Science’s new nursing program.
As the first new nursing program in Ontario in more than 20 years, Carleton’s program welcomed its inaugural cohort of approximately 100 students in September 2025, delivered in partnership with Queensway Carleton Hospital.
The Centre provides a state-of-the-art environment where students develop foundational clinical skills through immersive, simulation-based education. Using advanced technologies such as simulation manikins and virtual reality, students engage in realistic scenarios designed to build confidence and competence before entering clinical settings.
The evening will feature guided tours of the space and an opportunity to learn how Carleton is advancing excellence in nursing and simulation education. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
Please note that this is an invitation-only event. Please confirm your attendance by registering below.
