Dr. Elizabeth Stobert is an assistant professor in the School of Computer Science and co-director of the HCI Masters program at Carleton University. Her research is in usable security, examining the human factors in security systems and how our understanding of the human brain can be used to improve their design. She has worked extensively on the usability of passwords and authentication systems, and also done recent research in security education and healthcare security. Prior to joining Carleton in 2019, she held research roles at the National Research Council of Canada, Concordia University, and ETH Zurich.
