Elsewhere, the Faculty of Science has created a Virtual Graduation Celebration as a toast to the accomplishments of its graduates!

The event was led by Chuck Macdonald, Dean of the Faculty of Science.

Julie Angus, named as one of North America’s leading adventurers by Explore magazine and one of Canada’s Greatest Women Explorers by Canadian Geographic, joined us to deliver a keynote speech celebrating the accomplishments of our new graduates. Angus is a fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society and recipient of numerous awards.

Maria DeRosa, Associate Dean (Recruitment and Retention) and Patrice Smith, Dean of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs also delivered their congratulations, along with alumni from the Science Student Success Centre.

New grads from programs within the Faculty of Science have already received their invite to this virtual celebration, but you can watch the highlight video here.

Congratulations to all of our new graduates! Stay in touch, and share your graduation thoughts, reflections and experiences on social media using #CarletonGrads2020 and #CUProud.
