You can brew your own beer, bottle your own wine, and even fix your own home – there is probably an app to help with each of those tasks. Have an Android device? Google Play is the place you’ll find what you need, with over 18 categories for the apps it supplies, including those from education, business, finance and gaming to name a few. Have an iOS device? Apple’s App Store is the place to go, providing even more categories for its apps. Have you ever wondered how someone gets started building an app? In this talk, I will show you the entry points to becoming an app developer and how iOS and Android apps are written. No programming experience required, but maybe you’ll be convinced to learn more.
