Biography
Dr. Kim Corace, PhD, C.Psych., is the Vice-President of Innovation & Transformation at The Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at University of Ottawa, a Clinician Scientist with the Institute of Mental Health Research and a Clinical Health Psychologist.Through her roles, she partners with providers, agencies, and most importantly, client and family leaders (including through CAPSA), to provide strategic leadership for mental health and substance use health system transformation, including innovation in service delivery models such as Regional Coordinated Access (AccessMHA) and Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) clinics. Dr. Corace leads an active and extensive funded program of research in the areas of substance use health and mental health. She contributes her expertise to numerous standards and guidelines committees as well as policy development initiatives to improve mental health and substance use health care and reduce stigma. She is also honoured and humbled to be the recipient of the 2022 Working on Wellness Ottawa Festival Award for commitment and perseverance to substance use health.
